Questions & Answers

Limerock 57 stone weighs approximately 1.35-1.4 tons per cubic yard loose, so 1 cubic yard equals roughly 1.35-1.4 tons, and 1 ton equals about 0.7-0.74 cubic yards. When in doubt, multiply your cubic-yard estimate by 1.4 to get tons. Use our calculator to get the exact tonnage for your project.

"I've been grabbing bagged stuff at Lowes for the small planters for years and finally got around to redoing the whole back yard, so I figured I'd just order a real load for once. Didn't really know what I was doing, but the calculator did the math for me which I appreciated because I was about to just guess high. Paid online which felt weird since I'm used to calling these places, but ordered Monday and the load was on the driveway Tuesday morning, easier than I expected."

"My contractor bailed two days before the pour. Had to order the load myself with zero clue what I was doing. The price was right there on the page, no quote phone tag. Truck was on time. That alone saved the schedule."

Vero Beach, FL

"Got the quote in maybe a minute. Scheduled it for Thursday and they were there Thursday. Flagged the irrigation lines in the order notes before booking — appreciated that it actually made it through to the route plan. No buried lines, no extra cleanup."

"Ordered around 4pm. Truck was on site by 10:30 the next morning. Dispatch was reachable when I called for an ETA. Last yard I called wouldn't even quote me for three days."

Andres V.

Jupiter, FL

"Wasn't totally sure what I needed between fill and topsoil. Read the material pages, looked at both prices, picked the one that fit. Truck came the next day, no follow-up calls needed."

Punta Gorda, FL

"Got a load delivered to the side yard. Last vendor I used dumped half on the lawn and called it. This time the drop spot was discussed before the truck rolled out, and the load landed in the right zone. Two hours of cleanup I didn't have to do."
